Not feeling very inspired at the moment, in fact i'm a bit fatigued? exhausted? I dont know, but I felt like drawing something, so here it is. Based on a photo i found, its an evening dress I guess. Should have been black but i figured the black would obscure the material lines. Its supposed to be a bit tight. Not thats its tight in a weird way, but one of the features of the dress is that you can see the folds as the material hugs the body. Plus it has sequins. I drew legs and arms because the dress is so revealing. Not sure it it worked properly before when I did it with stick arms and legs, I think its because of the importance of the shoulders. Its easy to draw stick arms coming out of a t-shirt but here the anatomy is more important. I sort of like it. The right leg could do with being touched up, but i'm trying to develop a degree of fluidity in these drawings as I think its vital to the final appearance, and I had already laboured long enough pontificating over the stick arms and already it was loosing its looseless. Still, I like her smile. I know models shouldn't smile, but I dont care. Red dress is filled with a water colour from the graphics app. I want to try and capture material in the finish, to be able to show silk from wool. I was going to slap a huge bow someplace but I decided to leave it out..
